We’re bringing the EB community together this October for a workshop on research and quality of life, with a particular focus on mental health support in adult services and the EB Registry.
Lunch runs from 1 to 2 pm beforehand, for anyone who’d like to come early and settle in before the sessions start.
On the day, a psychologist from St James’s Hospital will join us for a short discussion on what psychological support means to people living with EB, what they’d look for from a service, and how services could better meet their needs.
We’ll also share a brief update on the EB Registry, before moving into an interactive session and round-table discussion, where there’ll be plenty of space to bring your own perspective and ideas.
Coffee breaks with light snacks are built in throughout, so there’s time to catch your breath and chat informally between sessions.
We know travel and time can be a real barrier, so we offer €80, paid directly or as a voucher, to everyone attending, plus up to €50 towards travel and parking.
Questions before you register are always welcome at research@debra.ie. Once you’ve registered, we’ll follow up by email and post with the full information pack, including how to get there and where to meet us, about a week before the workshop.
Registration closes Thursday 1 October, so please register your place by then.
