Set against the timeless backdrop of the Phoenix Park, Polo by Debra offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the skill and speed of world-class polo in exceptional company. It is an afternoon defined by classic style and thundering hooves, all in aid of a cause close to our hearts.

Why it matters

Every ticket and every contribution helps us support people living with EB in Ireland. Behind the glamour of the day is something simple and vital: making sure no family faces EB alone.

There is no cure for EB. For the families who live with it, daily life means hours of wound care, dressings changes and managing pain, often from the first hours of a child’s life.

Debra is here so that no one faces that alone. The funds raised through events like Polo by Debra go directly into the support that families rely on:

Practical and emotional care. Our team brings expert support to people with EB in their own homes and communities, helping with wound management, pain and the everyday realities of the condition.
Community connection. From Family Weekends to peer support and our community magazine, we make sure families never feel isolated, and that people living with EB can find others who truly understand.
Advocacy. We work to make sure the needs of the EB community are heard by decision-makers, so that care, treatment and support keep improving.
Research and progress. We invest in the research working towards better treatments, and ultimately a cure, so that one day EB will no longer mean a lifetime of pain.

Every contribution made on the day, and every partner who stands with us, helps make this work possible.

The auction

Our live auction is packed with prizes you cannot buy anywhere else.

Thanks to Adrian Bartels and the team at the five-star Cashel Palace Hotel in Tipperary, our headline prize is a one-night escape like no other. Alongside a stay in a luxurious guest room with full Irish breakfast each morning, spa access and the hotel’s Tipperary Pantry welcome, the winning bidder will enjoy a Michelin-starred dinner at The Bishop’s Buttery and a private guided tour of Coolmore Stud, the global home of thoroughbred breeding, which is normally closed to the public. The experience also includes lunch at Sadler’s in Fethard and entrance to the Fethard Horse Country Experience.
For golfers, there are two exceptional prizes: a four ball at Killarney Golf Club with an overnight stay in a Signature Suite at the five-star Killarney Park Hotel, and the ultimate golf package taking in four balls at Tralee Golf Club, The Hermitage Golf Club and Killeen Golf Club, complete with a signed cap and jersey from Padraig Harrington.
